About

How we looked in 2006
Earthpages.ca – Think Free is a noncommercial blog that began as a book I wrote while developing Earthpages.org.
After a few years of plugging away at Think Free, I realized the web is where it’s at. I could have spent countless hours trying to get my book published at some obscure publisher… or I could create an online companion to Earthpages.org. I chose to post the book online, and it’s still growing as Earthpages.ca – Think Free.
Like the original manuscript, Think Free is about questioning everything, right down to the ideas of objectivity, neutrality and balance, often implied as valid and true other educational sites.
We invite submissions on many different topics and also from all you future Einsteins out there. Instead of squelching innovation, Think Free encourages it. Far from those stuffy academics who try to intimidate students and push their weak theories simply because they read ancient languages (or through some other fading feather they stick in their cap), we believe that learning isn’t just about toeing the line, parroting politically correct ideas, or regurgitating yesterday’s stuff. Learning is also about exploring new possibilities and shaping the future.
You can contribute to Think Free by posting a comment or, for more detailed submissions, by adding or editing entries. And if you haven’t guessed by now, everyone’s welcome. Not just scholars, pundits and polished pros.
I hope you’ll enjoy Earthpages.ca and, even better, help us grow!

We were testing out some code on this page that seemed to freeze it. The only solution was to delete the page and recreate it. Unfortunately we lost about 4 or 5 previous comments in the process. We do have a backup (Mar 30) but don’t know how we’d restore icons to comments. So maybe we’ll just leave it for now.
Apologies to all concerned.

I love the energy I feel here. I love what this site is all about. Thank You for sharing your light…
Do you add information in alphabetical order? Just curious…
Thecla… I was searching for Thecla… A friend began to tell me the tale… was wondering if you knew? I like to explore your Earth’s pages
Yes, it’s based on a book that I wrote. I’m expanding and revising that book before I post. But I do have an alphabetical template.
With the recent changes in wordpress it’s now possible to arrange things alphabetically by adjusting the posting date. This, however, would have an effect on the visibility of the tags…
But I don’t think it will really matter as the site grows…
Thanks for everything, enreal.
Appreciated.
Hi, I just came across this blog site today after posting an entry in my blog about Parallel Universes. I just want to say how wonderful and interesting this site is. I will link this site to my blog and come back regularly. Cheers!
Feel free to cross link my site. I have a blog from a different perspective about Virgin Mary at http://www.REligionNerd.com
Thanks for your comment. If you’d like more exposure through this site the best way is to comment on entries of interest, linking back there. Also, you can submit copyrighted articles to earthpages.org with a link or links back to your site. Details are in our Policy and Disclaimer.
I don’t do a separate page or column for reciprocal links any more (I did at my old site) because it gets too complicated. Sometimes people want to link to me but I might find something objectionable at their site. So I just leave it open. If people put something in here, they get something back–i.e. exposure.
I hope this helps.
Michael,
Great Blog and thanks for the comment on Learning from Dogs – wouldn’t have come across you otherwise.

I appreciate you checking out “literarylew”. And, I like your website and your background. Really appreciated what you had to say about introjection.
Thanks for your comment. For some reason your link isn’t connecting here, although your Gravitar is.
Thanks for the trackback Earthpages. If you’re a facebook user we’d love a “like” on the RAXA Collective page. See you there!
